Where is the name from?
The origin the name Poland isn’t clear. According to one theory it origins from the tribe of Polanie living in the area of Wielkpolska. The word Polanie origins from word “pole” (field) in connection with farming as the main activity of the tribe, or living in fields (areas without woods). (in contrast with Wislanie or Mazowszanie). But there are some historians (such as Przemyslaw Urbanczyk and Zofia Kuratowska) who believe that there were no Polanie who occur in 1000.

There is also another theory according to which long time ago Poland was called as field. In the past there were Latin names: terra Poloniae or Regnum Poloniae. Monarchy of Poland. The name of Poland was used in reference to whole country in XI century. The word “Polacy” occurs in st. Wojciech’s work , probably written in Rome between 999 to 1001.

Political system is a very boring subject to discuss because it happens quite a lot.
