Machine Ethics
How to teach machines good from wrong?
Machine...
... Ethics:
We made robots move on wheels. We made them walk. Up and downstairs. In complex and cramped spaces. We made them run. And cycle. Sooner or later - me made them do it autonomously. Now engineers, ethics and AI programmers wish to rise the bar by combining their efforts in working on a machine autonomous in its decisions, judgments and eventually - being.
... Emotions:
In our current research we are focusing on using web-minig solutions to extract emotions from the Web. We believe that with the gathered information (general beliefs, opinions) our agent will be able to make the most appropriate moral choice.
... Philosophy:
Because of my philosophical background I treat adapting philosophical theories for Machine Ethics resarch as a great opportunity. Firstly, this approach is quite popular among Machine Ethics researchers. Secondly - allows joing philosophical conferences and introduce the interdisciplinary field of Machine Ethics to people yet not engaged in this field of research.

Statements about this HomePage
Some sections of this page will probably be useful only for me, as a place to keep
all the important and usefull things (e.g. links) at my (lazy) fingertips.
But by all means - feel free to explore its every corner.
Some ideas shown, brought up and discussed on this page might seem abstract or preposterous but yet I hope you will find some inspiring ones among them.
Some of you may think that I may use this site in the future to show off with my achievements and... I hope you are right!
